How long will it take for the results to be declared?

The fingerprinting process at our office is usually 15 mins. longer provided you have provided us with all the pre-requisites. Once completed, we send you results to RCMP and wait until they check those details against their database:

    1. If you have no criminal record, then the results come within 3-10 business days.
    2. If you have a criminal background or some possible match, your results are withheld for 120 days

Processing times may vary depending on some incomplete information or checks with local police and digital services involve manual processing also.

Will my fingerprints be stored with RCMP for future?

Fingerprints are never added to the system as they are only meant for civil screening. Once your application is completed and results of fingerprinting are transmitted to you via email or mailed, the fingerprints are removed from the system

Therefore, the police’s information, including its address, is required when you come to us for the fingerprints.
